Engine module addendum — review draft

The proposed addendum supplements Studio terms for one legal entity. It permits modifying the delivered module and compiling it into the entity’s games on any platform. Redistribution of proprietary module source is excluded. Customers keep their own modifications.

Updates are annual. The proposed right to ship games built with versions received during the term is perpetual. Module source is delivered directly; the source agreement carries the license obligation. The module editor’s export and the shipped runtime do not check a key.

The module and BSD extension load the same artifacts. The agreement will commit to maintaining that artifact contract during the term, so the extension remains a fallback. Tooling escrow is covered by the Studio agreement.

We hold no console SDK and do not warrant console operation or certification. Studios supply approved platform access, SDKs and their own Godot port or templates. Support covers reported defects with a reproduction supplied by the studio.

The delivered source and shipped binaries must retain applicable upstream BSD and MIT notices. See the main terms and threat model.
